Scan your printer label
Find the manufacturer label — usually on the back, bottom, or inside the toner door. It shows the brand, model, and serial number.
Your photo stays on this device. After extraction it is discarded unless you choose otherwise.
How text extraction works in this build
Connect an OCR / vision provider endpoint in Account → Developer settings and photos are sent there for text extraction. Without one, paste the label text (your phone's photo app can copy text from the picture) or use the sample label. Either way, the parser only uses characters that are actually in the text — it never invents a model or serial.
